Moving Day -- PLEASE NOTE!
For those of you who are curious -- yes, I have continued to send emails to my representatives about investigating torture. One of them actually responded directly, one of them invited me to a fundraiser.
There has been progress, though, with Holder's move toward inquiry. I'll keep writing.

Wow. I've gotten some form letters back from my reps when writing them about more than one subject of life-and-death import, but an invitation to a fundraiser as a response to a letter about torture . . .
I know it's probably some lowly intern who answers constituents' mail, but inexperience does not explain that. I just can't quite figure out how it's possible to be so clueless that that seems like an acceptable response.
I could laugh at it, if the torture part were as imaginary as the Minotaur.
This bit is over-the-top funny for something which is too sad to laugh at.
I know, I'm months late to notice. That's less a commentary on the post's value and more a commentary on the sad state of my life.
I'll check back in a while, as things settle out for me.
Meanwhile, have a peaceful holiday season, 'k?
