I was tagged by Phydeaux today, and this is a tag that I actually found interesting, so I proceed.

  1. No place. I live in fucking Paradise. No shit. Really.
Four foods I like to eat: (Just FOUR?)
  1. Beer (and yes, it is too a food)
  2. Fresh Sweet Corn
  3. Deluxe Cheeseburgers from "Sea-J's"
  4. Fresh Sprouts of almost any variety, but especially, Lentil and Adzuki bean-- steamed Collard Greens tie exactly even with the Sprouts

I normally hate these meme/ tag thingies that infiltrate the tubes, but it is nice to seem someone reference Mary Renault. Not to mention, lentil sprouts with a cheeseburger and a beer chaser. Hell yeah! Sounds like a damn fabulous night!

Yeah, Petulant -- me too on the hating the meme tags -- but I did like this one.

As for Mary Renault -- well, she's a god/goddess AFAIC -- I own every one of her books, and re-read them at least once ever two years or so. Weirdly, my straight librarian mom started giving me Mary Renault books when I was about 12 -- hmmm -- did she know something I didn't know?
